In addition, it is possible to print at product quickly and easily in one single operation, where it previously could be necessary to merge multiple individually produced components to arrive at the desired solution.

It is also possible to print multiple variants of a particular product in the same production run.
Nordic and Baltic countries are lagging behind
The prevalence of 3D printing in metal has grown significantly in several major European countries, as well as in the US, Russia and some Asian countries, but in the Nordic countries and the Baltic states the adaption has been slower.

Explore 3D metal printing with PLM Group
On March 17, PLM Group is arranging a one-day workshop in France at the world’s leading manufacturer of 3D printers, 3D Systems’ factory for metal printers. The workshop offers a visit to the factory located in the French town of Riom where 3D metal printers are developed, manufactured and tested.
